✪ Description: The octopuses on this piece are handcrafted from polymer clay and painted to resemble the species Larger Pacific Striped Octopus (LPSO for short). This species is the only octopus we know of (so far) that forms pair bonds and shares dens and food with it's partner.
One LPSO is tucked inside the vintage tea cup, and the other is hanging out on the saucer, they're making a den together.
Outside and all over this little den we find "corals" made from a mixture of materials, primarily 24k gold plated Miyuki Delica Beads and a variety of colors Miyuki rocailles, other brands of small glass beads and paillettes (sequins) all set on silver wire.
