Care Instructions

Thank you for choosing a sculpture created by Sahasa! To ensure its longevity and preserve its beauty, I kindly ask that you follow the instructions below. Your art should be treated with the same care and caution as any valuable, fragile item.

General Care

  • Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Keep your sculpture away from extreme or rapidly fluctuating temperatures.
  • Stable Environment: For best results, place your sculpture in an area with stable temperature and humidity.
  • Dust-Free Environment: If possible, place the sculpture in a dust-free area to avoid build-up.
  • Low-Traffic Area: I recommend displaying your sculpture in a low-traffic area to minimize the risk of accidental contact.
  • Stable Surface: Ensure the sculpture is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping or damage.
  • Not for Children or Pets: Sahasa's sculptures are not toys. Keep your artwork out of reach of children and pets (especially cats and dogs) to prevent accidents.

Displaying Your Sculpture

  • Display Case: For optimal protection, I strongly recommend displaying your sculpture in a protective case or a locked display cabinet.
  • Handle with Care: When moving your sculpture, lift it gently and avoid dragging it across surfaces to protect the paintwork and prevent damage at the contact points.

Cleaning Instructions

  • No Water or Chemicals: Never use water, chemicals, or abrasive materials to clean your sculpture, as they may damage the surface.
  • Dusting: Use a soft, new, non-bristle mop brush (found in art or makeup departments). The softer and fluffier, the better. Avoid brushes with stiff bristles, as they can damage the paint or surface.
  • Handling: If your sculpture has any surface treatments (such as gilding or delicate finishes), wear gloves when handling it to avoid leaving marks or oils behind.
  • Cleaner’s Responsibility: If someone else cleans the space where your sculpture is displayed, be sure to pass along these care instructions to avoid accidental damage.

Damage and Repairs

  • In Case of Damage: If any damage occurs to your sculpture—whether large or small—please reach out for assistance, advice, or repairs.
  • Lifetime Repair Guarantee: All of Sahasa's sculptures come with a lifetime repair guarantee. I welcome your artwork back to the studio for any necessary repairs.
  • Shipping: Please contact me first for a consultation, do not ship artwork without prior agreement, this is to prevent the risk of loss of your artwork in transit.

Lifetime Repair Guarantee

All Sahasa-made sculptures come with a lifetime repair guarantee, which covers defects in craftsmanship or materials under normal care conditions.

This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Improper handling or failure to follow the provided care instructions (e.g. exposure to pets, extreme temperatures, unstable surfaces, or neglect).
  • Accidental damage or neglect beyond what can be reasonably expected under normal display conditions.
  • Alterations or attempts at self-repair, which may compromise the integrity of the sculpture.

Please note that repairs will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and in instances where damage is a result of mishandling or neglect, repairs may not be possible or covered under the lifetime guarantee.
