The Caribbean Reef Octopus and Golden Trevally fishes on this piece are hand sculpted from polymer clay and lovingly painted. The octopus is cosily tucked inside a vintage tea cup.
The exterior of this tea cup turned octopus den is generously covered in corals, representing countless of hours of patient hand beading by the artist with lots of love and attention to detail.
The corals are made from a mixture of materials but primarily consist of superior quality Miyuki rocailles and delica's. All beads and paillettes are set on many metres of silver wire.
This thoughtfully hand beaded reef is a celebration of texture, shape and colors that keep surprising with delightful details in every nook and cranny.
