✪ Description: "Melody" is a one of a kind artwork, sculpted and painted after the species Octopus briareus also known as the Caribbean Reef Octopus.
This free standing octopus is hand sculpted from polymer clay over a wire armature and has been carefully painted with artist's quality paints. The sculpture is fully detailed with rows of suckers on each of the octopus's arms and a beak underneath its mantle. The paintwork is detailed with effect paints. The sculpture is varnished with a satin grade varnish for a silky appearance, the eyes have a high gloss finish for a lovely life-like look.
