The octopuses are holding onto genuine Swarovski crystals, two handmade iridescent glass hearts and freshwater pearls.
The silver plated teaspoon displays a European turtle dove, an emblem of devoted love. In Renaissance Europe, the European turtle dove (male) was envisaged as the devoted partner of the Phoenix (female). Furthermore the turtle dove is mentioned in poems, songs and more.
